Initial shipment had coil weight discrepancy — resolved satisfactorily after follow-up
We placed a trial order of 8 MT of 0.45 mm HDP-coated sheet to evaluate this supplier for a longer-term contract. The coating quality itself was fine — cross-cut adhesion at Grade 0, gloss retention acceptable after QUV-B testing. However, two coils in the shipment came in approximately 4% under the stated coil weight, which created a material shortfall on-site. I raised this with the sales team, and to their credit they responded within hours, issued a credit note, and arranged supplementary material in the next available shipment. Issue is resolved, and the coating specs were never in question. Upgrading to 4 stars on next order if logistics are tighter.
