Initial color batch variance flagged — resolved promptly with replacement coils
First order of 40 MT at 0.35 mm, Z80, PE topcoat in RAL 5015. On arrival, two coils showed ΔE readings of 1.4 against our reference chip — outside the ΔE ≤ 1.0 specification. We reported this with measurement data. The supplier acknowledged the variance, traced it to a coating line calibration issue, and shipped two replacement coils within 18 days at no additional cost. Remaining six coils were within spec. The resolution process was handled professionally and the replacement material passed our checks. Issue appears isolated; we are cautiously planning a follow-up order.
