Initial shipment had a width tolerance issue — resolved promptly
Ordered 35 tons of PVDF-coated Galvalume, 0.55 mm, 1,200 mm width for premium residential roofing in Queensland. On arrival, width measurement on four coils came in at 1,193–1,196 mm rather than the specified 1,200 mm — outside our acceptable tolerance for our roll-forming line. Raised the issue immediately; the supplier acknowledged the variance, provided a technical report, and offered credit plus priority replacement coils dispatched within 8 days. Replacement material was correct. Coating quality itself — 28 µm PVDF, salt spray >1,000 hours per ASTM B117 — was genuinely good. Issue was resolved professionally, so we are continuing the relationship.
