Initial dimension issue resolved promptly — quality now confirmed
First order of 316L stainless U channel, 70×35×4 mm, 1.2 tonnes for railway carriage interior framing. On arrival, we measured flange width variance of approximately 0.4 mm on roughly 8% of pieces — outside our EN 10088-3 tolerance requirement. Raised the issue immediately; supplier responded within 12 hours, acknowledged the deviation, and arranged replacement pieces at no additional cost within 10 days. Replacement batch was fully within spec. Communication throughout was professional and resolution was handled without dispute. Adjusted our rating upward from initial impression — would trial them again on smaller volume first.
