Initial Color Deviation Issue – Resolved Professionally
Ordered 50 tons of HDP-coated sheet, 0.42 mm, RAL 5015 sky blue, Z150 zinc, for a commercial building facade. Upon inspection, 6 coils showed ΔE of 1.4–1.6, exceeding the specified ΔE ≤ 1.0 tolerance per our contract. Raised the issue with their quality team — they responded within 24 hours, acknowledged the deviation with lab data, and arranged replacement coils shipped within 18 days at no additional cost. The replacement batch fully conformed to spec. Resolution was handled professionally and without dispute. Upgrading rating would require this not happening in the first order. Cautiously optimistic for future orders.
