Initial color inconsistency resolved after supplier intervention
Our first order of 30 tonnes of 0.45 mm polyester-coated sheet in RAL 5015 showed a visible gloss variation between two coils — one measured 42 GU and the other 28 GU, against a specified 35 GU. We raised the issue immediately with the technical team, who investigated within 48 hours, confirmed a line calibration deviation on one production run, and arranged replacement coils at no additional freight cost. The replacement material was within spec and arrived within 18 days. The issue was handled professionally and we did not lose project time. Upgraded from the original concern; supplier accountability here is genuine.
