Initial color inconsistency flagged — resolved satisfactorily by supplier
Our first order of 18 MT of 0.50 mm polyester-coated sheet in RAL 9002 showed visible gloss variation between coils — some measured 45 GU and others 55 GU against a specified 50 GU target. We raised the issue immediately. The supplier's QC team acknowledged the batch variance, provided a revised certificate, and offered partial replacement material on the next shipment at no charge. The replacement coils were within ±3 GU of spec. Issue appears to have been an isolated production batch problem. Communication throughout was professional and the resolution was fair. Cautiously continuing the relationship.
