First order of 25 tons, SMP coating, RAL 5010 gentian blue, 0.6 mm, Z140. On arrival, three coils showed a visible color shift versus the approved sample — ΔE measured around 1.9, above our 1.0 tolerance for EN 10169 compliance. Raised a formal complaint with photographic evidence. Supplier acknowledged the issue within 24 hours, arranged replacement coils shipped within 10 days, and issued a partial credit for the delay impact. Resolution was handled professionally. Coating hardness and adhesion on all other coils were fine. Cautiously optimistic for next order.
