Initial Coating Thickness Issue — Resolved Promptly
Our first order of 20 tons of 0.40mm polyester reflective sheet showed dry film thickness averaging 13μm on one coil rather than the specified 15–25μm range. We reported this with measurement data and the supplier responded within 24 hours, issued a replacement coil at no charge, and provided a revised QC checklist for future production runs. The replacement coil measured 18μm consistently. Solar Reflectance on all other coils met ≥0.65 per ASTM E1980. The issue resolution was professional. We have since placed a follow-up order and quality has been consistent.
