Initial Width Tolerance Issue – Resolved After Prompt Supplier Intervention
Our first order of 25 tonnes of 0.50 mm Z120 sheets arrived with width measurements on roughly 8% of panels reading 1,248 mm instead of the specified 1,250 mm. For our customer's standing-seam application, this was outside acceptable tolerance. We submitted measurement records and photos to the supplier immediately. Their quality team responded within one business day, acknowledged the deviation, and arranged a partial replacement shipment at no additional cost within 12 days. The replacement panels were within ±0.5 mm. The resolution process was professional and the product has performed well on-site since. Cautiously optimistic about the next order.
