Our first order of 15 tonnes of L90×90×9 angles in A572 Gr.50 for a mezzanine structure in Ohio included roughly 5% of pieces cut approximately 15 mm short of the specified 9 m length, which exceeded our acceptable tolerance. I flagged this immediately and the supplier responded within four hours, acknowledged the QC lapse, and arranged a partial replacement shipment at no charge within 10 days. Chemical and mechanical properties on the MTRs were fully compliant throughout. The issue was handled well and we placed a follow-up order, but I am scoring three stars for the first delivery as received rather than as resolved.
