Production begins with a cold-rolled or hot-dip galvanized base coil that passes through a continuous coil coating line. The strip undergoes alkaline degreasing, chromate or chrome-free passivation, and primer application before the topcoat — typically polyester (PE), high-durability polyester (HDP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), or silicon-modified polyester (SMP) — is applied and cured at temperatures between 200°C and 250°C. A protective back coat is simultaneously applied. Final coils are inspected, slit to width, and recoiled to customer specifications before export packaging.

We sourced 50 MT of 0.60mm PPGI with HDP coating, width 1,000mm, for industrial wall panel production in Bavaria. Coating thickness averaged 22µm on topcoat, well within our EN 10169 requirements. Good Value on PPGI – Minor Color Variance on First Shipment

Ordered 120 MT of 0.35mm DX51D PPGI in RAL 5015 sky blue for HVAC duct cladding. The mechanical properties — yield strength around 280 MPa, tensile above 350 MPa — were fully on spec per ASTM A755. Our only issue was a slight gloss variation between two coils in the first container, which we flagged to the team. They responded quickly, acknowledged the batch variance, and offered a partial credit. The second and third containers were perfect. Pricing is genuinely competitive versus domestic distributors. Would recommend with the note to request tighter gloss tolerance in your purchase order.
