Initial Width Tolerance Issue – Resolved Satisfactorily
Our first order of 35 MT of PPGI at 0.6 mm, 1,000 mm slit width, Z120 coating for residential roofing in Queensland arrived with approximately 8% of coils measuring 1,008–1,012 mm, outside our ±5 mm tolerance requirement under AS 1397. We raised the issue immediately. The supplier acknowledged the variance, issued a partial credit, and the replacement coils in the follow-up shipment were precisely within tolerance. Communication throughout was professional. The underlying material quality was fine. I am cautiously optimistic about future orders.
