| Chemical Composition | C ≤ 0.12%, Mn ≤ 0.60%, P ≤ 0.045%, S ≤ 0.045%, Si ≤ 0.50%, Al ≥ 0.015% | Low carbon content ensures excellent formability and paint adhesion for automotive stamping |
| Tensile Strength | 270–550 MPa (per EN 10346 / ASTM A653) | Grade-dependent; HX220YD achieves ≥ 340 MPa for structural body panels |
| Yield Strength | 140–420 MPa | HX180YD: ≥ 180 MPa; HX220YD: ≥ 220 MPa; suitable for complex automotive stampings |
| Elongation | ≥ 22–36% (A80mm, per EN 10346) | High elongation ensures crack-free deep drawing for door panels, hoods, and fenders |
| Coating Type | Hot-dip Galvanized (Z100–Z275 g/m²), Galvalume (AZ150), Electro-galvanized | Zinc or zinc-aluminum alloy coating provides superior corrosion resistance for automotive use |
| Paint System | Primer: 5–8 µm; Top Coat: 15–25 µm; Back Coat: 5–12 µm (Polyester, PVDF, Epoxy) | Automotive-grade PVDF and polyester coatings offer UV resistance, chip resistance, and color stability |
| Thickness Range | 0.30–2.00 mm | Thin gauges for interior trim; heavier gauges for structural and exterior body panels |
| Width Range | 600–1,850 mm | Custom slit widths available to minimize blanking waste in automotive press shops |
| Coil Inner Diameter | 508 mm / 610 mm | Compatible with standard automotive stamping line uncoilers |
| Surface Finish | Smooth, Matte, Textured; Ra 0.6–1.9 µm | Consistent surface roughness ensures uniform paint appearance on Class-A automotive surfaces |
| Application | Automotive body panels, door skins, hoods, trunk lids, roof panels, interior trim, structural reinforcements | Widely used by OEMs and tier-1 suppliers for both exterior Class-A and non-visible structural parts |
| Certification | IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH, SGS | Full automotive supply chain compliance; material test reports (MTR) and PPAP documentation available |
| Packaging | Eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall coil; waterproof paper + steel strip banding; wooden pallet or steel cradle | Packaging designed to prevent edge damage and surface scratching during ocean or road freight |
| MOQ | 25 Metric Tons per specification | Mixed grades and widths accepted within one order; smaller trial orders negotiable |
First order of 15 MT of 0.9 mm color coated coil, custom slit to 1,100 mm, showed width variance of ±1.8 mm on two coils from the batch — outside our ±1.0 mm tolerance requirement. We raised this immediately. The supplier's QC team responded within 24 hours, acknowledged the slitting calibration issue, and arranged replacement coils plus partial credit within two weeks. Subsequent delivery was within spec. We've placed a follow-up order since then with no recurrence. Appreciate that the problem was handled professionally rather than disputed.
