Initial color deviation on first shipment — resolved on second delivery
Our first order of 20 tons of 0.40 mm PVDF coated sheet in a custom RAL 6018 showed a slight color deviation versus the approved sample — Delta E measured around 1.8, which exceeded our 1.0 tolerance for this architectural project. We raised the issue immediately. The supplier's technical team responded within 24 hours, investigated the batch records, and re-produced the order to correct specification within 18 days at no additional cost. The replacement coils passed our in-house color check. Issue was resolved professionally; we will trial a second product line next quarter.
