Initial color variance issue — resolved professionally
Our first order of 30 tons of 0.38mm PE-coated sheets in RAL 5015 showed a noticeable gloss variance between two coils — one measured 42 GU, another 58 GU, against a specified 45–50 GU range. We raised this immediately and the supplier's QC team acknowledged the deviation within 24 hours. Replacement coils were produced and shipped within 10 business days at no additional cost, with updated ASTM B117 and gloss test reports included. The resolution was handled professionally. Upgraded our assessment after seeing how they managed the problem — will trial a second order.
