Initial color variance issue — resolved promptly, quality now on track
Our first shipment of 60 tonnes of 0.50 mm HDP-coated sheets in RAL 5015 showed a measurable color shift on roughly 8% of sheets — ΔE around 1.4, outside the ≤1.0 tolerance in our spec. We raised this immediately and the supplier's QC team acknowledged the issue within 24 hours, provided root-cause analysis, and replaced the non-conforming sheets at no charge within 12 days. The replacement batch was fully within spec. We've since placed a second order and the color consistency has been correct throughout. Good recovery — we're cautiously confident going forward.
